Kremlin is not happy about blocking its UN Security Council statement regarding the shelling of the Russian Embassy in Damascus by the US, Ukraine and the UK, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Answering a question on the Kremlin's reaction to the blocking, Peskov said it was "negative."

On October 4, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported the shelling of the Russian Embassy in Damascus on Monday. According to the ministry's statement, the embassy was shelled from the Jobar municipality controlled by Jabhat Fatah al Sham (formerly known as al-Nusra Front) and Faylaq al-Rahman militant groups.
