The main courthouse in Turkey's Antalya was evacuated over a bomb scare, the state-run Anadolu Agency reports.

Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor Ramazan Solmaz said that the courthouse was evacuated as a precautionary measure over a bomb threat.

Solmaz also denied reports of a suicide bomber inside the courthouse building, saying there was intelligence of a suspected bomb targeting police, the Hürriyet Daily newspaper reports.

Meanwhile, police took extensive measures around the building, cordoning it off and evacuating people inside. Counter-terrorism and bomb disposal experts have been conducting investigations inside the building.
