Russian children from Lori region in Armenia receive gifts for New Year
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Russian Embassy in Armenia organized a transfer of New Year gifts for Russian children living in the Lori region on Monday, News-Armenia reports.
The adviser to the Russian embassy in Armenia, Alexander Minzhurenko, noted that the assistance of the embassy will be more significant in the future.
The only Russian school in the Lori region has been working since 1969 in the village of Fioletovo. A mixed Armenian-Russian secondary school operates in the village of Lermontovo in the Lori region.
The villages of Lermontov and Fioletovo are almost entirely populated by Russian-Molokans.
