Kazakh Energy Minister: reducing oil output not on our agenda
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaWork to bring onstream the Kashagan oil field in Kazakhstan is going normally and some crude has already been processed and put in storage, the Kazakh Energy Minister Kanat Bozumbayev said.
Bozumbayev also said that reducing oil output in line with OPEC plans was "not on the agenda" for Kazakhstan.
He added that Kazakhstan will take part in an informal meeting of the OPEC member countries and non-member countries, which will be held today at the World Energy Congress in Istanbul.
