Putin calls results of development in North Ossetia "positive in general"
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the head
of North Ossetia, Taymuraz Mamsurov, that the results of development
in the republic are "positive in general, but modest," RIA Novosti
reports.
Mamsurov admitted that the wages increase was smaller than average in
Russia. He said that they plan realization of several major projects
in road construction, tunnel construction and cement factories. There
will be major projects in agriculture, in particular, a cattle project
with France. Mamsurov expressed hope that RusHydro would complete
construction of hydroelectric plants in the republic next year.
He also reported that the government approved issuing 1.7 billion
rubles on modernizing the healthcare system in North Ossetia. Mamsurov
added that the budget will have no deficit next year and will reduce
expenses by 2 billion rubles.
