Armenian Defense Minister addresses the nation

In his traditional New Year address to the nation, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said that this year the Armenian army fulfilled its task of ensuring the republic’s security, PanArmenian reports. He also pointed out the benefits of developing cooperation with NATO and the CSTO.

However, he also stressed the necessity of further development and elimination of existing flaws in the army's organization, requiring the devotion and fortitude of all servicemen to correct them.

According to tradition, the Armenian Defense Minister will visit one of the military units on duty on the evening of December 31.
