Kazakhstan to export oil to Belarus
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaKazakhstan is ready to export oil to Belarus, according to the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belarus, Anatoly Smirnov, BELTA reports.
This issue is being discussed within the framework of the Common Economic Zone, which is to begin functioning in 2012.
Kazakhstan produces 80 million tons of oil annually; by 2020 the volume of oil will grow to 130 million tons. The ambassador believes that, within the CEZ, oil exports to Belarus will be safe and profitable.
