Georgian Energy Ministry announces plans for 2011
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAlexander Khetaguri said that the Georgian Energy Ministry has
ambitious plans for 2011. One of the main projects is the construction
of the Namakhvani, Khrami, Alpana hydro electric plant complex. They
will produce a total of 1,000 megawatts of electricity, Business
Georgia reports.
Khetaguri said that $1.7 million dollars have been invested in the
project, but the sum will be used up next year. Construction of the
hydro electric plants is planned to be completed in 4 years.
