Erdogan arrives in Minsk on official visit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Belarus on an official visit. He was welcomed by the Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov at the Minsk National Airport.

Belarusian and Turkish presidents will hold official talks at Minsk's Palace of Independence. Alexander Lukashenko and Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss development of bilateral relations, paying special attention to the intensification of trade and economic cooperation. They will also exchange views on issues of regional and international agenda. 

After the talks the sides are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents. Lukashenko and Erdogan will also take part in the Belarusian-Turkish Business Forum, BelTA informs.

In addition, the two leaders are also expected to attend a ceremony to open the Cathedral Mosque in Minsk.
