Situation in Moscow airports normalized – Federal Air Transport Agency

Moscow's airports has stabilized. All the postponed flights on
December 26, 27 and 28 have departed. There are only problems with
some arrivals, Interfax reports.
According to ITAR-TASS, over 83 passengers departed in the space of 24
hours. Domodedovo airport had 670 flights (over 38,600 passengers) on
December 29, Vnukovo – 561 flights (over 14,000 passengers) and
Sheremetyevo – 407 flights (over 30,000 passengers).
The airports of Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo experienced a transport
collapse on December 26, caused by poor weather conditions. Thousands
of passengers were waiting for flights.
