Ankara appoints ambassador to Tel Aviv

Turkey has appointed a new envoy to Israel after the normalization of diplomatic relations between the countries, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

"We have appointed the ambassador to Israel, Kemal Okem," Erdogan said.

His confirmation comes one day after the appointment of Eitan Naeh as Israel's new envoy to Turkey, Sputnik reports.
