Qatar: gas demand to grow in 2017

Demand for natural gas will grow in 2017 but at a slower rate than in recent years, Qatar’s energy minister Mohammed Saleh al-Sada said at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

“The big news, of course, is that the demand for natural gas grew in 2015 by 1.9%, more than double of that in 2014. And it is expected to continue growing in the next year albeit at a lower pace,” he said.
