Peskov: Trump's visit to Russia looks like canard

Likely dates of US President-elect Donald Trump’s visit to Russia have not been discussed in Russia yet and all media reports on that score look like a canard, the presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"For the time being there have been no discussions. It is an utterly unchecked speculation. It looks like a canard," Peskov said about media rumors Trump might visit Russia shortly after inauguration.

"There are no specifics. Naturally, nothing has been said so far it might take place before the inauguration. There is no concrete understanding what there will be after the inauguration. It is too early to talk about that," TASS cited him as saying.
