Azerbaijani consulate opens in Batumi

The General Consulate of Azerbaijan opened today in Batumi, Georgia
Online reports.

The Consulate is aimed at protecting the interests of citizens of
Azerbaijan and promoting the deepening of relations between the two
countries.

The premier of Adjara, Levan Varshalomidze, called the opening of the
Azerbaijani consulate in Batumi a historic moment and congratulated
the Azerbaijanis living in Ajaria on World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day.
