Turkey's Chief of Staff meets with US counterpart

Turkey's Chief of Staff Hulusi Akar met with the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Joseph Dunford at the Incirlik Air Base in the south of Turkey, according to statement released on the website of Turkish military.

"Gen. Akar visited with an inspection the province of Adana and Incirlik Base, where he held talks with the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Joseph Dunford," Sputnik cited the statement of the General Stuff as saying.

According to the statement, Dunford had arrived at the base to wish the US soldiers happy winter holidays.
