The issue of abolishing visas for Georgian citizens is a priority for the European Union, so this process will be completed soon, Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister Mikheil Janelidze said.

This statement was made against the background of the European Council President Donald Tusk's call not to delay the process of introducing a visa-free regime for Ukraine and Georgia.

According to Janelidze, Tusk's call highlighted the priority of this issue for European institutions and European politicians.
