Rosneft stake price sets records

Rosneft shares appreciated by 6.6% to 380 rubles per share on Thursday morning, following news of the privatization deal.

Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said at the meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin that the company sold a 19.5% stake to a consortium formed by Glencore PLC and Qatar in a deal valued at some €10.5 billion ($11.3 billion).
