Iraqi army storms into Quds neighborhood

The forces from the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service stormed into al-Quds neighborhood in the eastern side of Mosul after fierce clashes with ISIS, Alsumaria News reported with reference to defense sources.

"The forces are seeking to liberate al-Quds neighborhood, which is used by the terrorist group as a headquarters to launch car bomb attacks on the nearby neighborhoods,” the Iraqi News cited the source as saying.   “The security forces are advancing significantly in the operations,” the source added.
