2 Turkish companies stop exporting poultry to Russia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaOn the 7th of January 2011 Russian authorities prohibited the import
of poultry from two companies in Turkey, Radio Mayak reports,
referring to the Federal Services for Veterinary and Phytosanitary
Surveillance of the Russian Federation. This was done as a result of
failure of the Turkish producers to comply with Russian veterinary
requirements.
At the moment only 13 Turkish companies are contracted to export
poultry to Russia, RBC reports.
