On December 24 Jews all over the world began to celebrate one of the main national holidays, eight holiday of light - Hanukkah, dedicated to the miracle of the one-day supply of oil miraculously lasting eight days that occured in the Temple in Jerusalem. Hanukkah is considered to be the most bright holiday, accompanied by feasts, songs and games. Light shows the correct path, light - is the most pure, most spiritual thing in the material world, and when Jews add another candle to menorah every day during Hanukkah, they remind themselves that they need to grow spiritually.

This year, Jews celebrated this holiday in Moscow for the 25th time.
