US changes co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group

Ambassador Richard Hoagland will assume the position of US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group on an interim basis starting in January 2017, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan said.

“Ambassador Hoagland brings over 30 years of diplomatic experience to the position,” Trend cited the embassy as saying.

Hoagland replaces Ambassador James Warlick, who will step down on December 31.
