100 employees of Georgian Defense Ministry dismissed

About 100 employees have been dismissed from the Georgian Ministry of Defense, the Deputy Chief of General Staff Shalva Jabakhidze confirms, Interpress news agency reported.

According to Jabakhidze, the dismissal is not related to the government's decision.

"We want the military police battalions to be paramilitary units, staffed by officers with military education. This was the reason for the dismissal", - Jabakhidze told Imedi TV.
