Turkish Airlines cancels all domestic flights due to heavy snowfall

Turkish Airlines has announced the cancelation of all domestic flights scheduled until 5 p.m. on Jan. 8 due to heavy snowfall in Turkey, Hurriyet news agency reported.

Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport remains crowded due to a backlog caused by canceled flights.

Some 471 flights to destinations abroad have also been canceled.
