Ulyukayev does not appeal against property confiscation

The former Minister of Economic Development Alexey Ulyukayev did not appeal the decision to confiscate his property, the Court’s spokesperson Yunona Tsareva said.

She recalled that Moscow’s Basmanny District Court on December 14 confiscated financial resources and precious metal coins totaling around 500 mln rubles ($8.3 mln) that belonged to the ex-Minister, TASS reports.

According to the Court, the case against the former Minister of Economic Development Alexey Ulyukayev accused of taking a bribe of $2 mln, remains under investigation until May 15.
