Mall to appear in Tbilisi outskirts

The largest shopping center in the Caucasus will open in the suburbs
of Tbilisi. The Up-Town Tbilisi mall will cover 200,000 square meters,
News-Georgia reports.

According to the mayor of Tbilisi, Gigi Ugulava, the project will
create three thousand new jobs.

Construction will be commissioned by the Rakeen Development and the
International Finance Corporation (IFC). The Rakeen Development is a
member of the RAK GROUP. It entered the Georgian market in 2006 with a
number of major projects.
