Georgia and Turkey to expand customs cooperation
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaDuring his visit to Georgia, Turkish Deputy Minister of Customs and Trade, Fatih Çiftçi said that Ankara hopes to solve the problem of congestion of trucks at the Red Bridge checkpoint on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border.
During his trip, Ciftci discussed with Georgian colleagues the issue of delays at the checkpoint. The deputy minister noted that Turkey intends to expand cooperation with Georgia in the field of customs, Trend reports.
Recall, that the Red Bridge checkpoint is located on the main route of export of the Turkish goods to Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries.
