Hovik Abrahamyan’s son to resign as mayor of Artashat - media

The mayor of Artashat, who is the son of the former Armenian prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan, Argam Abrahamyan, is going to resign in the coming days, ARKA reports with reference to the Zhamanak newspaper.

‘Hraparak’ says that Argam Abrahamyan will be included in the proportional electoral list of the Prosperous Armenia party, founded and controlled by his father-in-law Gagik Tsarukyan, for the early April parliamentary elections.

The governor of Ararat province Rubik Abrahamyan has also filed a resignation application.
