Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia meets with Russian Interior Minister
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaOn January 31, 2017, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Russia, Polad Bulbuloglu, held meeting with the Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of migration policy and other bilateral issues between the interior ministries of the two countries, the statement of the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia, received by Vestnik Kavkaza, says.
The head of the Russian ministry said that the law enforcement bodies of Russia and Azerbaijan are carrying out an active cooperation in the framework of the Council of Heads of Migration Authorities of CIS and the Joint Commission of the Parties to the CIS Agreement on cooperation in combating Illegal migration.
The Ambassador said that the close friendly, economic and humanitarian relations between Azerbaijan and Russia contribute to a fairly intense movement of citizens of the two countries.
Discussing the recent meeting of the Presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran, they underlined the importance of ensuring the security of cargo transit through these countries, facilitate the migration legislation and increase the length of stay in Russia for drivers of heavy vehicles.
