Iranian oil minister, Azerbaijani energy minister meet

Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev and Iranian
Oil Minister Seid Masoud Mir Kazemi have met in Baku, Trend cites the
head of the press-service of the Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan, Abbas
Iskanderi.

Iskanderi said that the sides discussed the expansion of cooperation
in the oil and gas sphere and joint cooperation with other countries.
They talked exchange operations on oil products and their transport to
the countries of the Persian Gulf.

The head of the press-service of the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry Azer
Mansimli said that Natik Aliyev and Seid Masoud Mir Kazemi, head of
the Iranian Oil Ministry and OPEC, discussed the joint development of
oil and gas extraction, oil and gas processing, sales and exchanges.
The sides considered cooperation in petrochemical industry and
realization of joint projects in the sphere.

They viewed the idea of founding an oil bank for financing of the
joint energy projects.

The ministers exchanged views on cooperation in alternate and
renewable energy sources.
