Karimova-Tillyaeva awarded with The Best Award for charity activities
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaUzbekistan’s envoy to UNESCO, Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva, was awarded with "The Best Award" for her philanthropic activities over many years, as well as her contribution to promoting Uzbekistan’s culture and arts in Europe at a ceremony held in Paris last week.
The annual “The Best Award" was founded in 1977 and and was presented to such individuals as Karl Lagerfeld, Omar Sharif, Andy Warhol and Marie-Helene de Rothschild and etc, the daughter of the first president of Uzbekistan wrote on her Facebook page.
Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva heads two major charitable organizations in Uzbekistan – the You Are Not Alone Foundation and the National Centre for the Social Adaptation of Children, which provide comprehensive assistance and support to children left without parental care and children with disabilities, AKIpress reports.
