Sochi plans to build waste sorting plant in Year of Ecology

The authorities of Sochi plan to  participate in the program of construction of a sorting plant in the Year of Ecology, mayor Anatoly Pakhomov said at a meeting on the development of the events in the Year of Ecology.

The mayor said that there is a need to solve the problem associated with the disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW), and a new sorting plant will help to solve this issue. If the positive decision adopted, the money will be allocated from the federal budget for the construction of the plant.
