Lavrov hopes his meeting with Tillerson to be successful

Russia and Washington have many issues to discuss, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said ahead of the meeting with the US State Secretary Rex Tillerson.

According to him, these are topics previously discussed in a phone call between the presidents of the two countries. 

I hope that we can outline parameters of our future work on each of these issues," Lavrov said ahead of the meeting.

It is the first personal high-ranking contact between Russian and Trump administration officials.
