Azerbaijani tumbling gymnast wins silver at FIG World Cup in Baku

In an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza he said he showed a good performance today, and that support of the fans really helped him. "I'm really glad, it's the first time I perform at the World Cup, and my first result is already a medal," he said.
Russia's Grigory Noskov showed the best result - 74,6 points.
He thanked the organizers of the tournament. "Everything is great, the competition turned into an awesome show, I enjoyed it," he said.
The first World Cup in Trampoline and Tumbling of the new Olympic cycle takes place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 18-19. The competition is attended by 85 gymnasts from 15 countries. Their performances are evaluated under the new rules, which came into force in 2017. The qualifications are held on Febraury 18th, the finals will be held on February 19th.
