Yuli Gusman recalled that long before the appointment Mehriban Aliyeva has been known in the world as a talented politician and organizer, directing her efforts to implement cultural projects of global significance. "Mehriban Aliyeva is known to all as the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as the head of the organizing committees of Eurovision in Baku, the First European Games in Baku and many other international events. Everywhere she showed her outstanding talent as a politician, an organizer and a moderator of these amazing cultural events," he noted.
Yuli Gusman pointed out that those who are acquainted with Mehriban Aliyeva, in the first place see a charming woman, who was recognized a year ago as the most beautiful first lady in the world. "But she is not just the First Lady, but also a great organizer and a strong, talented manager. I am convinced that Russia can only welcome the appointment of this brilliantly educated, intelligent, highly cultured woman to the post of first vice-president, it will help to strengthen the bridges of friendship between our countries," the director said.
Alan Kasaev also expects that under the first Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, a cultural and humanitarian component of the Russian-Azerbaijani relations will develop rapidly. "Mehriban Aliyeva oversaw many areas relating to culture, education and sports: dozens of competitions, concerts, cultural events and major exhibitions were held under her direct leadership. I think that now we can say that the common humanitarian, cultural and educational space of Russia and Azerbaijan will be actively developed," he said.
It is a very important appointment for Azerbaijan, Alan Kasaev stressed. "As a doctor, Mehriban Aliyeva is inclined to work to improve the lives of ordinary people, to improve the external appearance of Azerbaijani cities. She has made serious efforts to make Baku a modern and impressive city. In these areas the authority of Mehriban Aliyeva is high, and the appointment will allow her to work on it officially. Now she will be able to sign official documents related to her competence, as well as make decisions and implement them," the political scientist pointed out.
Olga Sviblova congratulated Mehriban Aliyeva on her appointment as first vice-president, noting that it was a positive decision. "Women's patience and kindness are beneficial to the world of big politics. I am sure that she came to such a responsible position with ideas of peace, kindness and understanding, so I hope that it will positively affect the relations between our countries," she said.
Director of the Multimedia Art Museum noted that it is impossible not to admire Mehriban Aliyeva. "She could do nothing, being the mother of adorable daughters and wife of the President - but she has always worked. Her work has always been associated with charity and human development. Culture and sports are needed for a person - and these areas are priority for her. The fact that all the activities under her authority are effective says about Mehriban Aliyeva's ability to make decisions, because only their beauty is visible from afar, but the achievements and victories mean invisible, but a huge organizational work," Olga Sviblova stressed.
"She has an ability to form a team, unite it, and then solve the problem. I know that Mehriban Aliyeva is deeply immersed in her work, she knows how to choose people, lead them and win. If she plans to do something, she succeeds due to the vast experience of working with people, and it is necessary for such an extremely responsible position. And I congratulate her on this appointment," she concluded.
