Commander of Russian Interior Forces sums up results of fight against militants

The Commander of the Russian Interior Forces, Nikolai Rogozhkin, has
reported on the struggle against militants in the North Caucasus,
Yuga.ru reports.

"Soldiers of the Russian Interior Ministry killed 108 militants in the
North Caucasus in the past year. Losses among military personnel have
decreased," Interfax quotes Rogozhkin.

Rogozhkin also said that there are 500 to 800 militants in the
Caucasus, although the exact number is not known.
