USA introduces sanctions against 24 more Iranian companies
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaUS authorities have introduced unilateral economic sanctions against
26 firms and institutions controlled by Iran, ITAR-TASS cites the US
Department of Finances as saying.
The sanctions concern 24 boating companies, 20 of them are in
Xianggang (Hong Kong), 4 on the Isle of Man (UK). The companies are
related to the Iranian national boating company which is included in
the list of the US sanctions introduced in 2008.
Two subsidiary structures of the Iran's Aerospace Industries
Organization, the 'Shahid Ahmad Kazemi Industries' and the 'M. babai
Industries', based in Tehran. The two companies are accused of
involvement in the Iranian missile program.
The measures taken by Washington mean that individuals and legal
bodies of the USA are forbidden to use the companies' services. The
companies' assets under the USA jurisdiction, if any are revealed,
will be arrested.
