Azerbaijan's Marina Nekrasova advances to balance beam finals at Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijani gymnast Marina Nekrasova has advanced to the balance beam finals, ranking fifth with 13 points at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.
The best result in the qualification was shown by Romanian artistic gymnast, three-time Olympic champion, Catalina Ponor, (Uzbekistan, 14.233 points), the second place was taken by Emma Jane Nedov from Australia (13,266 points), Chinese gymnast Deng Senyue ranked third with 13.2 points.
Vasiliki Milousi (Greece, 13.133 points), Emily Little (Australia, 12.833 points), Göksu Üçtaş Şanlı (Turkey, 12.4 points) and Ofir Kremer (Israel, 12.4 points) also advanced to the balance beam finals.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is being held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries will compete for 10 medal sets.
