Azerbaijan's Marina Nekrasova advances to floor finals at Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijani gymnast Marina Nekrasova has advanced to the floor finals, ranking fifth with 13.1 points, ranking second at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reported.
The best result in the qualification was shown by Romanian artistic gymnast, three-time Olympic champion, Catalina Ponor (13.233 points). Emily Little from Australia ranked third with 12.7 points.
Göksu Üçtaş Şanlı (Turkey, 12.333 points), Doga Ketenci (Turkey, 12,233 points), Ioanna Xoulogi (Greece, 12.2 points), Maria Butckikh (Georgia, 12.166 points), Gaia Giladi (Israel, 12 points) also advanced to the floor finals.
Another Azerbaijani gymnast Yuliya Inshina ranked tenth with 11,866 points.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is being held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries will compete for 10 medal sets.
