Upper Lars closed due to avalanche danger

The road along the Kazbegi-Verkhny Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border is closed due to avalanche danger, the website of the Department of Motorways Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia reports.

The Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars motorway is closed for traffic due to  a report from the National Environmental Agency.
