Romanian gymnast Catalina Ponor, who won three gold medals at the Olympics and pultiple World Championship, told to the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, the results of the Baku tournament allow her to be more confident in her program, which she is preparing for the European Championships.

First of all, she thanked the Gymnastics Federation of Azerbaijan for hosting the tournament. "From the beginning to the end of the tournament, everything was in order, you can see how hard the AGF team worked  over every detail of the competition. The arena here is very beautiful and big, many thanks for the World Cup in this beautiful city! " Catalina Ponor said.

"I am satisfied with my result, I'm happy with it, because it's not only my first competition after the Olympic Games, but the first tournament with a new coach. Of course, I still have a lot of work to do, because the European Championship is approaching, and you need to be ready for it. But I will not change the program that I performed in Baku, I will just work on it, " the Romanian gymnast said.

Recall, that the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup was being held on March 16-19 in Baku at the National Gymnastics Arena. Athletes from 23 countries competed for 10 medal sets.
