Most babies born in Georgia are boys

The Georgian Agency for Civil Registry says that there were more boys
than girls born in 2010, News Georgia cites the agency.

62,726 babies were born in 2010. 52% of them were boys. Most babies
were born in October (5728).

The most popular names for boys are Georgy (3573), Nikoloz (3523),
Luka (2387), Saba (2216), David (1433), for girls -- Mariam (4708),
Nino (2554), Anna (2487), Yelena (1603) and Lizi (1546). The agency
says that the name Nikoloz is getting more popular.
