Garlyk plant in Turkmenistan to be opened in late March

The issue was discussed during the visit of the Chairman of the Belarusian National Assembly’s Council Mikhail Myasnikovich to Ashgabat.
The Belarusian Belgorkhimprom JSC has been constructing the plant, worth more than $1 billion, since June 2009. The plant is intended for production of 1.4 million tons of fertilizers per year.
Garlyk, a large potassium salt field located in Koytendag District of Turkmenistan’s Lebap Province, will be the plant’s raw material source, Trend reported.
