Cultural Foundation of Russian Federation and Representative Office of Heydar Aliyev Foundation send children on virtual holiday trip

On the International Children's Day in Moscow, the Russian Cultural Foundation (RCF) hosted a children's holiday journey "We are going, we are going, we are going ... Hurray - holidays!" The holiday was held within the framework of the RCF project "Today - Children, Tomorrow - People" in cooperation with the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia. The organization of the event was carried out in association with the Lestnitsa film studio, the Yunarmiya Military-Patriotic Education Center, the Detikino school studio, and the Moscow Musical Cadet Corps.

"On June 1, we celebrate International Children's Day. For 71 years now, the first day of the calendar summer reminds us that our little citizens have the right to life,  education and protection. In short - to happiness! Today's children tomorrow will decide the fate of countries, the planet, all mankind! Our meeting is held under the motto “Today - children, tomorrow - people!” Today's world belongs to adults.  Great that we have this day when we can put all our problems aside and address the most important task - to listen and hear our children. After all, we must leave the Earth as a legacy. Children are the future of our planet,”  Tamilla Akhmedova, the head of humanitarian programs of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's representative office in Russia, said.

"Problems of children never go unnoticed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, this is one of the main activities of the Foundation, led by First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva. Vice President of the Foundation and the head of its Russian representative office Leyla Aliyeva invariably supports all projects in all countries, designed to help children, make their lives brighter and happier. We sincerely hope that this is the first, but far from the last joint initiative of the Russian Cultural Foundation and the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation,” Tamilla Akhmedova said. ”Russia and Azerbaijan have always been and remain good neighbours and partners in politics, economy, science, culture. It is gratifying that the children of our countries and peoples grow up under the reliable protection of the state and society, in an atmosphere of mutual respect for each other. The strongest and most sincere friendships are established precisely in childhood. And if we say: "Today - children, tomorrow - people", it will be quite fair to note: today - children's friendship, tomorrow - friendship between nations. "

Producer of the Kinolestnitsa creative association Nina Komarova noted that the Russian Cultural Foundation named after Sergei Vladimirovich Mikhalkov and the Representative Office of the Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Moscow have united to organize the event. ”This is the initial event, we are making acquaintance and laying the foundation for further cooperation. Today we have met very talented children. We are especially impressed by the student of the Kara Karayev Moscow music school, pianist Elisey, who was invited by the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. "

”Everyone is so talented! They sing brilliantly, and read poems! It is very important to exchange cultural codes! We cannot separate from each other as we lived side by side in cooperation, friendship, peace. Thus, we need to continue such a tradition. The beautiful script was written by Elena Tverdokhleb. Composer-arranger Alexander Myasnikov presented today the anthem that he wrote for Russian children. In this song, there are very important words, "today children, tomorrow people", belonging to Sergei Mikhalkov. in fact, it means dealing with the people," Komarova noted.

7-12 years children were guests of the Russian Cultural Foundation on June 1. A joyful summer is ahead, but it is important not to forget the school curriculum. To this end, the organizers prepared a festive journey for the children to help them consolidate the knowledge gained during the year. Illustrations for stories by Sergei Mikhalkov were shown on the screen.

The poetic journey in the "Train of Friends" had a figurative character. The children sitting in the hall enthusiastically “travelled” through the legendary works of Sergei Mikhalkov.

On the way to the holidays, "Train of Friends" made the most unusual stops. For example, at the School station, kids waved their hands to the school: "Goodbye, until autumn!" At the Musical station, they found out about their new children's anthem "Today - children, tomorrow - people" (music and lyrics by Igor Shevchuk). The Teatralnaya station surprised everyone with young talents, who prepared poems, theatrical, musical and dance performances.

At the Be healthy! station children were taught not to be afraid of vaccinations and jabs, at the Laughter station they had a fun quiz with Smeshariki. At the Cartoon station boys and girls saw the premiere - Rustam Kornaushkin's cartoon ‘Pretender’ based on the fable by Sergei Vladimirovich Mikhalkov.

The host of the event was children's poet and writer Igor Shevchuk. “Our main goal is to hear the feedback of a child's soul on what we are doing for them. Although this is a bit of an official event, and the reason was quite official, but for the person who participates in this, the main goal is to see a response. All guys are musical, everyone sang along, this means that the anthem is not completely divorced from the people, " Shevchuk said.

The author of the program’s script, film producer of the Kinolestnitsa creative association Elena Tverdokhleb noted that "International Children's Day has been celebrated since 1950, and the fact that today we have gathered in a wonderful, friendly and close company suggests that the issue of childhood is the most important. it is impossible neither to outplay it, nor to beat, nor to alter. Today’s children are tomorrow’s people. It does not matter in what country we live, what gods we worship, the main thing to maintain peace so that the children can always laugh  and enjoy the sun shining bright”

"We must return to our roots, to the primary sources. To the bookshelves. The task of parents, us as adults, to ensure that children do not forget that they are children. After all, digital technologies do not shape a person, they shape skills, motor skills, the ability to quickly press buttons. And books are the soul. Therefore, we want children to read and study the classics. Such authors as Sergei Vladimirovich Mikhalkov, in fact, should be acknowledged as a leading author for children,” Elena Tverdokhleb said.

People say, the better you meet summer, the better you spend it! Thus, for the children gathered today at the Culture Foundation, summer vacations should become colourful and creative.
