‘Angels of Nature’ in Sochi

The international charity festival ‘Angels of Nature’ is taking place in Sochi from March 29th; it will end on April 12th. Participants of the festival are children with disabilities. The program includes workshops, open lessons and creative projects.

Natalia Sokolova, the head of the State Ecological Control of the Federal Service for Natural Resource Management, says that 2017 is the Year of Ecology, the Year of Specially Protected Areas: “In preparation for this year we had the idea of starting the international movement ‘Angels of Nature’ to show all people that nature is a source of inspiration and health, and to explain to everyone what they have to do in order to protect nature. This idea was discussed with Nick Vujcic, a famous motivational speaker, philanthropist and writer. And the festival ‘Angels of Nature’ will also be held with his participation.”

The festival is supported by such famous figures as Diana Gurtskaya, the Honored Artist of Russia, who is a member of the Public Chamber and the chairman of the relevant committee to support the family, children and motherhood. Diana’s motto is ‘Nature Loves Everyone’.

Sergei Konstantinovich Krikalev will also support the festivals. He is both a Hero of the Soviet Union and a Hero of Russia, a cosmonaut. His motto for the festival is ‘Nature is Our Home'.

Also Leo Antonovich Bokeria, the chief cardiac surgeon of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the president of the all-Russian public organization ‘League of the Nation's Health’, supports the festival. He invented his own motto ‘Nature in Every Heart’.
