And today's program is composed of my favorite composers' works: Faraj Garayev, Ismail Hajibeyov, Erik Satie, Igor Stravinsky, Vsevolod Zaderatsky," Ulviyya Hajibeyova told Vestnik Kavkaza.
"Today's concert is a presentation of different styles of music, ranging from Erik Satie, who was a precursor to such movements as impressionism, constructivism, primitivism, neo-classicism. Igor Stravinsky, perhaps the greatest composer of the 20th century, who embraced everything possible with his work. Proponent of Soviet music Vsevolod Petrovich Zaderatsky with his wonderful Second Sonata, which has a very unusual structure, thinking and musical language. And, finally, a generation, which is also close to the classics - Faraj Garayev with the Second sonata for piano and Ismail Hajibeyov with Paganini Variations. These names represent a musical panorama of the 20th century," the leading expert of the Contemporary Music Association, Doctor of Arts Rauf Farkhadov told Vestnik Kavkaza.
