Bloomberg Business: "The agreement has been reached between the Arab countries and Israeli"

The analytical publication Bloomberg Business wrote today about the agreement between the Arabs and Israel. The agreement has been reached between the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf and the Israeli state for the first time in many years, being based on mutual opposition to the Iranian nuclear program deal. Despite all the attempts made by US Secretary of State John Kerry to find support for the agreement among the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, the Sunni monarchies inclined to support Israel, not America, because of the fear of the possibility of a strengthening of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Middle East. Israel calls the agreement "a threat to the security of the state" because there is no guarantee that after the lifting of the sanctions Iran will not continue to develop its nuclear facilities. However, in reality, this is not about the nuclear threat, it is a conflict of priorities and a fear of losing influence in the region both on the part of the Arab Gulf States and of Israel.

In addition, the Arab Middle East is counting on military aid from the United States in order to prevent the possibility of an Iranian attack. The Israeli leadership, in turn, does not exclude the possibility of a military solution to the Iranian nuclear issue. If the Gulf countries will be able to obtain US military aid, it will include common military exercises, expanding the Navy, as well as the steady supply of weapons, which is unlikely to impact positively on the maintenance of stability in the Middle East region. The President of the United States is trying to improve relations with Israel according to his strategic interests, but the leadership of the above-mentioned countries are not willing to cooperate with the United States while the Iranian nuclear program still has a chance of being implemented.

Meanwhile, Iran does not cease to remind that the country is a strong player on the world political scene, despite the fact that sanctions have still not been removed and the nearest neighbors are set very aggressively against Iran. The IRI is the only state in the Middle East with the ability to resist US hegemony.

The Middle East Monitor publication, specializing in analysis of the situation in the Middle East, responds to the question of whether we can talk about a restart of Turkish-Kurdish relations. After the terrorist attacks in the Turkish city of Suruç on July 20th 2015, resulting in 32 people killed, Turkey did not hesitate to answer and shelled Kurdish strongholds. According to the Turkish authorities, the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) is directly related to the terrorist attack. There is no doubt that the peace negotiations between the Kurds and the Turks are going through hard times.

However, at the same time, it is obvious that for Turkey it is not necessary to terminate the relationship with the Kurds who are living on the territory of the Republic of Turkey. In addition, analysts say that the parties should join forces to stand together against the terrorist threat. The state has every chance of stopping the long-term conflict, but for that they need to sit down again to negotiations, and not to carry out military strikes on each other's positions. On the other hand, it's more likely that the Turks and the Kurds will have to revise their foreign policies in order to be able to build new relationships and put an end to the long period of confrontation. Turkey has the capacity to solve the Kurdish question, but the state will have to take into account the fact that the Kurds are more likely to be assistants, not enemies in the fight against ISIS, which threatens both the Turkish and the Kurdish sides.
