Middle East Eye: "Iran is not going to for rapproch with the West"

The British analytical publication Middle East Online wrote about the prospects of the cooperation between Russia and the West. In times of crisis the great leaders of the world often have to cross through its own political interests in order to overcome the instability of the global scale. It seems such a time has come for Russia and the United States.

Against the background of the  recent events related to the death of 224 Russians and 130 Parisians, America will have to make a serious choice, whether to join Moscow in the military, political, diplomatic and economic spheres in order to confront the Islamic State and other terrorist movements, especially in the Middle East, or to continue to make  Russia the enemy number one. If the purpose of the US the international security and protection of people’s lives, there is no alternative for Washington to the coalition with the Kremlin in the nearest time.

Today, the international terrorists are not simply "non-state actors"  threatening the security of many regions of the world, but they have a  separate public entity, have a developed infrastructure, which controls large areas, has huge military force and a sufficient budget. This kind of threat can not be resisted without the aid of such powerful state as Russia. Russia has lost many more lives during resent years then Europe  due to terrorist attacks and deserves a leading role in the global anti-terrorist coalition.

France and most of Europe have already made their decision on the alliance with Russia. The US still maintain that the struggle that Moscow leads in Syria does not work, and advanced technology and efficient strikes are  ignored in the American media. However, many American politicians and analysts are starting to talk about the need for a union with Russia, despite the fact that the Congress still adheres to the short-sighted policy of confrontation with the Kremlin. However, at all times of historical crisis, world leaders found common ground, and now it is the time for President Barack Obama to reconsider his foreign policy and to start  supporting the alliance with Russia, if he wants to stay in the history of his country and the world as a politician who really got the results, and not as a leader who contributed to the development of the global crisis.

The international analytical publication Middle East Eye wrote about the strengthening of the relations between Russia and Iran. Russian President Vladmir Putin went to Tehran last week and had a meeting with the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, that have caused serious interest from the Western analysts.

Obviously, the meeting of the leaders of  two friendly states suggests further strengthening of ties between the countries on a wide range of regional and international issues. The meeting was particularly important in the context of the growing Syrian conflict, as both countries use a significant part of the military, intelligence and diplomatic resources to ensure that the balance of forces in the region remaine at the side of the allies, rather than sliding to the side of Daish. Iran, as a potential leader of the region, relies on the support of Russia in the settlement of the crisis in the Middle East, and Moscow, in turn, skillfully develops relations with both new and old partners, among which Iran is.

The new diplomatic reality is becoming increasingly clear that Iran is not going to for rapproch with the West, in spite of all attempts of Washington to win the Iranian leadership. Due to the competent foreign policy, Russia is gaining more allies and not only in the region but in the world, while the US view is becoming less significant, even for the closest partners of the state.
