The US analytical information portal SALON wrote that the "strange" war of the US against Russia could lead the world to a disaster. The US intervention in the affairs of Ukraine last winter did not result in anything good, exacerbating the already difficult relations between Washington and the Kremlin. Now that the attempt to Europeanize Ukrainian society has failed, it seems that the US has no clear plan for the future relations with Russia. The imposition of the sanctions, strengthening the NATO missile defense system, of course, is a threat from the American side and this can be called an attempt to weaken the Russian state. However, these measures have not borne fruit. Criticism of the Western media against Russia in time becomes boring and does not produce much effect on Western society, which is beginning to realize that without Russian economic and political strength the situation in the world may change dramatically for the worse.
Washington is stymied by its own imperialist plans, trying to overcome Russia through threats and economic impact. First of all, Europe suffers from the US pressure against Russia, the Western companies and banks, which lost a number of important clients and contracts with the Kremlin. In addition, the failure to specifically deal with the threat of ISIS in the absence of understanding of the international community is also threatened with irreversible consequences. However, despite this the US administration is continuing its expansion, threatening Russian interests. It is clear that the Obama administration is not clearly imagining that such pressure could turn against the United States itself, in view of the fact that the state continues to lose its strategic and economic partners in Europe and the Middle East. Counting on confrontation with Russia, the United States runs the risk of eventually gaining the status of an aggressor state, which could turn off its remaining allies.
The main task of the modern world is to prevent the development of armed conflicts, especially between such world leaders as the US and Russia. These two countries have all the necessary financial and strategic resources to maintain a balance in the world political arena. However, America is not in a hurry to give up its plans to destabilize Russia, which can lead to disastrous consequences, not only for the US but also for all partner countries of the American state.
The US independent publication Politico wrote that if the US Congress does not approve the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, it could deal a serious blow to America. There is a perception among the opponents of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program that in the near future if Congress does not agree with the transaction, that would generate an ability to re-negotiation with Iran, which could result in the United States having a chance to get more, and won’t make any concessions to the Iranian leadership. But in fact this will not happen. If the agreement is not approved, then the US has no chance of preserving relations with Iran, even at the same level.
In addition, America will lose influence in the Middle East region after Saudi Arabia began to establish relations with Russia, and Israel criticized the Obama administration for supporting Iran, the only ally of the United States still remains Iran. But if the agreement is not passed by Congress, the leadership of Iran will have no reason to maintain a relationship with America. President Obama understands this, hoping that with the help of the Iranian Republic he will be able to gain control in Syria, Yemen and Iraq, with no special effort. However, he cannot oppose the military elite within his own country, which is set up very seriously against Iran.
Of course, Iran needs the agreement for sanctions to be lifted, and the Iranian financial assets unfrozen. But even in case the deal is approved by Congress, it does not mean Tehran is cooperating with Washington. Of course, the terms of the agreement will be executed by the Iranian side, but it is unlikely that President Obama could be considered as a full ally in Iran.
