The Daily Mail: "Another controversy associated with Edward Snowden has broken out in the UK"

Another controversy associated with the name of Edward Snowden has broken out in the UK, the British flagship newspaper the Daily Mail wrote today. The Intelligence Bureau of the United Kingdom MI6 was forced to withdraw its spies from Russia and China in connection with the leak of classified information. Due to fugitive informant Edward Snowden having been in the hands of Russia and China, they have top-secret material, which, according to a senior source in Downing Street, "could trigger an arms race."

The security services said that their agents were needed to track terrorists and dangerous criminals. Now they have all been withdrawn, as there is a threat to their safety and lives. The leaked documents dealt a huge blow to the strategy of the UK, which spends huge amounts of money on secret missions, which have turned out to be failures as a result.

Snowden, a former national security agent, fled the United States in Moscow in 2013 after he published 1.7 million secret documents belonging to Western intelligence services. Despite the fact that Western leaders have accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of using Snowden against the United States and Great Britain, the former intelligence officer Edward Snowden argues that he was protecting the privacy and the principles of freedom against the actions of the Western powers, which carried out mass surveillance programs aimed at millions of innocent humans.

The Washington Post wrote that the Pentagon intends to place additional equipment around the perimeter of Russia's borders.

The decision of the US military leadership to strengthen the military forces of NATO in the Baltics and Eastern Europe could exacerbate the tensions in relations between the West and Russia.

If the so-called "party of war" in the US government will undergo a radical step, despite the warnings of analysts, an additional military contingent would be sent to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. NATO leaders justify their decision by concern about ‘’provocative military maneuvers by the Russian Aviation and Navy."

This decision once again underlines the inconsistency of the policy of US President Barack Obama, who on the one hand communicates with the Kremlin on a number of issues, including Iran's nuclear program, while on the other hand calling on the EU to tighten sanctions against Moscow, and NATO to expand its contingent on the border with Russia. Sharply criticized both at home and in Europe, Obama is still trying to implement ambitious plans for world hegemony, despite the fact that its foreign policy is failing, both in Europe and in the Middle East region.

The independent US news portal Trumpet.com wrote today about another difficulty of the Obama administration, but with Iran. The deadline for a final agreement on Iran's nuclear program will expire on 30 June and analysts have warned the talks could end in a disaster. Obama is in a difficult situation and has to draw the line between nuclear and non-nuclear sanctions to fulfil the promises given to Iran and not to let down his current strategic partners. What will happen with Iran?

If Obama will keep his word to the public on the prevention of the emergence of another nuclear state on the world map, the US is likely to lose a potential partner in the Middle East, and the region will be completely controlled by Iran, although being under the yoke of the sanctions, but having in its arsenal allies such as  Russia and China. The United States cannot allow this situation to happen, since this is a direct threat to the foreign policy of the country, which has been surviving fiascos lately. And if Obama will keep the promise made to Iran and lift the sanctions against country, Iran not only will have an opportunity to become the regional leader, but also become a direct competitor to the United States, even if we only take into account the oil industry, not to mention other sectors of the economy. In any case, America is in a disadvantageous situation. Most likely, the administration of the US president will not have time to come up with anything new by June 30, and the alignment of political forces in the world will change radically.
