In Moscow, in the Imperial Hall of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, an awards ceremony was held for workers of culture and the arts with state awards of the Russian Federation.

“Such events give an opportunity to award you and thank you for your work on behalf of the state,” Vladimir Medinsky, the Minister of Culture of Russia said.

Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, production director Renata Litvinova received the Pushkin medal, which is given to Russian citizens and foreigners for achievements in the field of culture and arts, education, humanities and literature. “The excellent Pushkin award. By presidential decree, the title of Honored Artist of Russia was awarded to ballet artist of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Igor Moiseyev, honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Olga Volina. “It means a lot to me. First of all, this is a high appreciation of my work, my profession. I am very happy. Also, the rector of the Theatre Institute of Boris Shchukin, People's Artist of Russia Yevgeny Knyazev, became one of those marked with state awards. The university headed by him, in honor of its centennial anniversary, was awarded an honorary certificate and the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation. “Our collective of the Shchukin Theatre Institute, for its centennial anniversary, received thanks from the President as an award. This is a great reward for the whole collective, because it marked every teacher, all those who work in the school and who constitute today's glory of our institute,” Yevgeny Knyazev told Vestnik Kavkaza.
